Pete and Tom Phillips established Allgardens 28 years ago in Dulwich, South London. Since moving to Bristol in 1990 to bring up young families away from the "smoke", the business has blossomed. Winning two gold medals at the Bristol Flower Show confirms the quality of their work.

Their mutual interest in good design ensures that each new garden they tackle is full of inventive and imaginative features. "We like to use old reclaimed materials in the garden, especially when fitting the design around older properties. However, for a more contemporary feel, there are so many good new materials being produced that the possibilities are endless."

They pride themselves on maintaining small but happy teams who take great pride and interest in their work. "It is vital when you are working in someone else's garden space to nurture a respectful working atmosphere. Most people appreciate a team who get on with the job, the client and with each other."
