About the Business

I am a lifelong admirer of nature and the outdoors and have always had a keen interest in the natural world around me. I studied photographic and visual studies at UEA (University of East Anglia), learning skills in composition and visual structure which I apply when designing and working on gardens. After university I worked for the Broads Authority in Norfolk as an assistant countryside ranger, helping to conserve and maintain the national park.

I gained a number of land-based qualifications in my time at the broads. During my time at Magpie I studied horticulture at Plumpton College, and went on to study garden design.
