The Gardeners Arms

Country pub and restaurant freehouse in Stutton (west) on the Suffolk-Essex border on B1007 off A137, close to Alton Water Reservoir, Stour Estuary and The Royal Hospital School. We are family run and owned, cosy, friendly and warm, with 70 covers in three areas, plus seating (weather permitting) in beautiful, landscaped gardens and a patio with a raised fishpond. We are in a designated "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" with stunning local countryside for walks, etc. We specialize in home cooked meals, roasts and steaks and have a large, varied menu comprising mainly English style but with several others included for variety.

There is also a special one or two course roast offer on Sundays. We have a comprehensive Seniors' menu combining quality, quantity and variety at a reasonable price. With quality food, we serve a good selection of wines, real ales etc., soft drinks, alcohol free lagers, teas (including herbal) and coffees.
